Content Management Solutions has now been around for some time and to make it simple it is an application attached to a web site (or the other way around) which allows for a little more control.

Some of the most popular are Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress and I offer these scripts preloaded in my hosting service and give you direct ftp access to the script so you can manipulate to your hearts content. There are many different types of systems available and many exist and they allow you to have some administrative control on the content of the site.

This type of site can allow for a lot more control and may look as if it is allowing you more freedom but your business is not web site development but your business is your business. So these are long commitments and will in time become an advantage.

This type of development is ideal if you are planning to have an in-house site administration team or individual.
